I have 2000 twin 2 stroke Yamaha 150 s when I am going at 1200 rpm or lower I have to constantly turn the steering wheel back and forth every couple of seconds to keep the boat going straight. There is steering fluid in the helm steering and I have bleed the system as well .Any help would be appreciated.

Some duel motor boats do not track well at low RPM
Might check to make sure motors are set up correctly
Are you running one counter rotating motor and one regular?Last edited by 99yam40; 10-06-2013, 03:09 PM.

Everything is bone dry. Cap is correct. No leaks anywhere. I think I will pull out th ck. valves and see what is going on. Thanks for the advice

planing boats going slow do not steer well at all, add to this, some weight in the bow and they will "run" from side to side, requiring constant steering input.

Is this a new problem, or did you just start having it?
If you have trim tabs, put them all way down, also try trimming the engines all way down. Could help with slow speed running.
