more and more older fuel line part numbers are obsoleted/superceeded due to EPA fuel permeability standards.

the original number is gone once stock is depleted but there will be a second number.

Check to see if their is a replacing part number for the obsolete part number. The boats.net website usually does not show the updated part number. Even when their is one.

    Obsolete hose part

It looks like I have to clean one of my 9.9 carburetors again (3d time in three months, fresh gas) because it won't idle. I'm thinking I should replace internal fuel hoses in case they are deteriorating. I see though, that one of them is listed as "obsolete". So, stupid question, what does one do? It's marked as "Hose (L300)".
