08 F250 vst tank draining problem

Hello all ,I was draining the screw on my 08 F250 and mistakedly backed it all the way out. Is this screw pressurized in some manner or did I just strip the hole out trying to rethread it? It will not screw back in and was wondering if I could retap the female threads on bottom of the vst tank or is there some other trick. Thanks for any help Mark

It is not pressurized. Depends on how bad the threads are to say if can be repaired, you will need to remove tank to repair and clean out.
