My friends motor had a miss at 2600 RPM. He bought a new ECU and that solved his problem.

My motor has a miss at 2600 RPM so I bought and installed a new ECU to cure the problem. It did not. I must have bought a new bad ECU but Yamaha won't take it back. I will just have to buy another new one.

By the way, I have lots of virtually unused spare parts available if anyone needs them. Owning an outboard motor sure is expensive.
