I have a pair of yamaha 300 hp electronic outboards and need to extend the standard harness from the control box to the engine.... I need approx 42' in lenght... How can i accomplish this?? The engine model #'s are:300f300txr and 300lf300txr. Advise

If this is the 2 stroke 300's then can use
61B-8258A-01-00 31.2FT 10 PIN MAIN HARNESS
688-8258A-30-00 9.8FT 10 PIN EXTENSION HARNESS

F and LF tells us they most likly are 4 strokes.
the 300 before the f or the LF is confusing.
gotta have the CORRECT model number as the F and LF 300 has been made in a V6 and V8 version, kinda different from the VZ,Z and LZ 300.

Yamaha doesn't offer an extension harness for the DEC(Digital electronic control) harness. Yamaha has a 39ft DEC harness, part number 6X6-8258A-40-00 39ft Harness
