I have a 2002 4 stroke which was not put into the water til 2004. I have a overheating problem which I am told is due to internal corrosion. The mechanic tells me this is a problem the early 4 strokes from Yamaha. The motor has been in salt water only and engine flushed after use 100%of the time. Question, is this a common problem and would it be better to replace the motor or repair.
