low oil&temp light

my low oil and temp lights are flashing red even without engine running. no alarm buzzer. happened during startup.telltale functioning and plenty of oil in tank.

How would you troubleshoot a harness? I think the problem occurred after tilting the motor all the way up while cleaning. Its a 92 200hp so there is a big snake of wires that gets bent pretty good in the motorwell area.

Check wire connections at gauges and on engine, they will be two off white colored square connectors at gauges and on engine.

both red lights on gauges flashing. key only has to be in "on" position. engine runs fine. 92 engine probably old wires in harness?? do these lights share common wires? any help is great Thanks

They share same wire harness but not same wires.

Does anyone know what color wires the red temp alarm and the low oil light are. trying to trace their wires in the harness...thx
