  • 200 hpdi alarm at low speed

My motor is a 2003 200 hp HPDI. I get an alarm while at *****ing speed intermitantly. Sometimes once a day and sometime every 15 minutes. It never happens at a RPM above 1K or when cruising. It apprears to to go away when the motor is rev'd in neutural. At first I thought it was overheating, but the pee tube is flowing with cool water and the motor is not hot to touch. Also, the gas line bulb seems to not be full of gas and sometimes does not totally regain it's shape after squeezing. When I check the clear bowl at the motor where the gas filter is, it's not completely filled with gas. Maybe an inch below the top. I thought it might be some kind of air lock or improper venting so I loosened the gas cap. That did not help. How many reasons would there be for an alarm to go off at low speed? Is there a diagnostic tool that can help me? I know (or rather think) low oil and overheating are not the case. Can someone help me?
