Pro 50 Occassionally Dies @ High Speed

Occasionally while turning about 5K rpm on my flats boat my engine bogs down to the point the boat comes off plane. If I pull the throttle handle into neutral then shove it forward it jumps up on plane and runs like nothing ever happened. It runs well for a few trips and out of the blue does it again. Changed plugs still does it. Always use fresh gas, run through large filter also cleaned out engine filter. HELP !

It could be ignition or fuel problem or even engine warning RPM reduction. If you are going to troubleshoot it yourself get a service manual and check warning buzzer, fuel vacumn test, check fuel tank vents and check ignition and timing with timing light when engine loses RPM's
