TT not working no clicking sounds, can I directly operate trim motor by jumping power to blue or green cables on the relay? If so how do I make connection

epidemic of trim issues...
when blue gets power, green ground, it goes up
when green gets power, blue ground, it goes down
you have right there on the relay - larger size wires:
motor leads - green, blue
power - red
ground - black
simplest is to disconnect the motor leads,
then touch one to red and one to black -
It is best to disconnect the wires before jumping with power because the relay should ground when in the de-energized position.
Jump with them still hooked up and the + you put to one of the trim motor wires should be going direct to ground at the relayComment
