    1991 225 carb won't take throttle, bogs shut down

    Starts fine, idles good, but when accelerating it starts to vibrate form 1000 rpms to 1400rpms, then bogs out and stalls.
    Replaced all fuel filters and spark plugs. Gas tank, fuel lines all new last year. fuel looks good, no water, gas is clear.
    Engine has 3 carbs with 3 fuel pumps, although the top fuel pump is called a Prime Starter and is obsolete. Any advice??

    Sounds like the carburetors need cleaning. I would quickly try spraying some combustion chamber cleaner in the air intake to see if that helps. If not, then you might need to take apart the carbs and really clean them out.

      motor has only 2 fuel pumps, check them to see if on1 or 2 are bad.
      prime start only helps with cold starting.
