  • Replacing older Yamaha with newer.

    I'm replacing an early 90's 150 HP with a 2000 200 HP OX66.
Will I need a new harness, multi gauge and key switch?
I assume the throttle and shift controls can be used.

you will need to buy a harness or the adapters for round to square connectors.

Just went from a 94 carb to an OX66 2001, both square connectors, plug n play

sometime about 94-95 Yamaha switched the trim oil and alarm harness connectors to square.
the 10 pin main stays the same.
