  • Yamaha F115 Gauge Alterntives

I'm buying a smaller boat that has a Yamaha F115 -- does that motor have CommandLink capabilities?

I'd like to get the Square Gauges and all command link including Throttle and Shifter

    Thanks for help

2006 and later F115 will work with Command Link gauges. Square, round or black and white rectangular.

Digital Command Link throttle and shift? No.

    Colour rectangular CL+ display? No.

Do you think the Part # 6X6-0E83C-00-00 Command Link 6YC DEC KIT - Single/Twin Engine Kit w/ 1 Information Station Display will work with the 2006 F115TLR I'm going to purchase later today?

I think I like this instead of separate gauges -- cost is about the same

Yamaha USA says that it is Command Link compatible.

Boscoe, I know "Your The Man" and can probably make anything work. But, please look at this link 6X6-0E83C-00-00 Command Link 6YC DEC KIT under the description for compatibility .

I know not all internet info is correct, however I would be concerned and want to be sure it works on Poorche's F115?

            Please confirm.

Other info, such as other required parts may interest him as well.

I think I see what you mean.

The OP has chosen the wrong kit. He needs the 6YC prefix kit. Not the 6X6 kit.

If that is what you were referring to.

Now if the OP has a 2005 production year motor, but maybe bought it in 2006, thinking that it is a 2006 production year motor, it might not even have Command Link capability.

Folks don't want to tell anyone what model they have.

                Mr. OP,

Why not go to the Yamaha rigging guide at the Yamaha website and take a look at what is available.

                See page 2-15 for instance.
