    F40 fetl - my2009 - Water pipe broken

    Hello,

    Outboard is Yamaha F40 FETL MY2009 (EFI)

    Water pipe is broken, i need to replace water pipe...is it possible to install new one from bottom or i have to remove the engine?

    Water pipe is 21" long.

    Power plant needs to be lifted up to gain access.

      Are you sure? I read one threat on this forum that someone do from the bottom on yamaha 115.

        typically, remove the powerhead and lower unit.
        then remove the lower cowl.
        then remove the midsection.
        then disassemble the oil pan assy.
        replace the pipe and reassemble.
