have a 2006 Yamaha 90hp. Starts good. Runs good. Have a intermitting trouble when running under a load. after running awhile, 20-25mph. Motor will drop power down to idle. Will not die, just runs at about 5mph with a load. Can push button and motor will rpm up and down fine. Just under a load acts up. Have been "told" that Yamaha has a safety feature built in that will cause this if motor over heats or low oil pressure??? Not sure if this is true or not. Can not locate either switch. Was wondering if anyone has had this trouble? No gauges, so no codes. After running at low speed for awhile, motor kicks in and runs fine. But sometimes starts again. Thanks for any help.
