Here is a copy of my data tag. This is my first Yamaha and I would like all the info I can receive. I have a 150 hp Saltwater Series II

I am not to wild about the gauges.......Is there anything I can do to clean them up and make them view-able?

My last thing.......Can I ad a fuel gauge so I have a full time fuel view?

All of the parts used on your motor can be found here 1995 150TXRT Yamaha Outboard Parts

Here is a link to an owner's manual that will cover your motor.

From your comment is sounds as if you have the Yamaha multi-function gauge(s) installed. The lens is known to cloud up over time. If it is just the lens then it might be possible to bring some life back to them by polishing the lens using something like the 3M headlight restorer kit. Mask off all but then lens and then have at it.

Now if the lens is OK but the pixels are worn and faded it is time to replace the tachometer.

Certainly you can add a fuel quantity gauge. Either one that is integral with a Yamaha multi-function speedometer or a standalone type. See in here for what is available from Yamaha
