    Lower leg shift shaft 60hp enduro

    HELLO ALL i decided to replace a water pump on a 60 hp enduro which was working A OK i pulled the leg off but the shift shaft stayed on the upper leg after removing it from a stuck spline i find i cant find the spline in the lower leg gear change i think the gearbox is in gear I HAVE TRIED TO disassemble the lower leg but cant remove the gears hoping for help himinshedhttp://www.yamahaoutboardparts.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

    you will have to get the lower unit apart

    A complete motor model # might help
