Yes, need to know the model.

Some models use choke plates, some use solenoids, some pulse the fuel injectors longer, some use an electro-thermal valve, ...

it gets fuel from the top carb bowl
            it has two solenoids
dose the key switch activate it?
or dose the key switch activate something on cpu and it activates it?

the top fuel pump is the enrichment pump.
it draws fuel from the top carb.
                the ECU controls the soliniods.

The enrichment system on the 90° 225HP engines (1990 - 1995) is con*****ed by a microprocessor. The choke switch and choke valve system have been eliminated. Temperature and throttle position are monitored and enrichment is automatic. An electromagnetic valve unit with a pair of injectors with different diameters are used to provide enrichment. Timing advance is also con*****ed by the microprocessor, thus eliminating the need to advance the throttle during startup.

Need to know more or is this enough?

so I don't have to push in on the key switch to activate it

It's the CDI unit under the black plastic cover on the back of the block.
