    Oil on Plug

    Hello guys. What can you tell me about cylinder number 1.

    225 four stroke. F225TXRA.

    Only one of the six plugs have oil deep on the plug thread.

    From the electrodes and the insulator the plug looks almost new....maybe someone applied some oil to the threads to ease removal and prevent seizing of the steel threads and the aluminum heads. I always wire brush my plug threads and apply a drop of oil on the threads after I remove/inspect/clean the plugs...this is recommended in the service manual I believe....but good preventive maintenance...
