    How to replace PCv (poppet) Yamaha 150

    Hi all, while I am replacing the the impeller may as well do the PCV as well. Just need a step by step on how to do that. 2005 150 TLRD 4 stroke. Good counsel appreciated as always.

    remove the 3 housing screws,remove the spring,poppet and grommet. clean/replace the grommet and valve as nessasary.
    replace the gasket as nessasary and go play.

      Good start...which are the items to change out. I was at the dealer and they want to sell me the entire unit. Somehow I don't think that's needed. Thanks

        is the gasket OK???
        is the poppet worn???
        is the grommet defective????
        I am behind a screen, your looking at it.

          Got it....so what your suggesting is get this kit and change out the parts.

            what I said was replace whats needed and reuse whats not needed.
