  • Yamaha 30 HP 3 carbs, 2002 - Float Height?

I am taking apart my carbs on my 2002 low hour 30 HP Yamaha outboard (3 cylinder, oil injection). Does anyone know the height adjustment of the float? The motor runs great at high speed but only idles with the choke out. I have new spark plugs, fuel line, and new fuel. I can sure use the help, I have taken them apart three times already with no luck. The motor sat for 6 years in the garage.

    Thanks
    Jose

If you are really sure that you cleaned the carby's, e'g' blowing air in reverse thru all jets, then you probably have an air leak.Check hoses and gaskets around/in carby's and manifold. These go hard brittle or dry out. Refitting tubes on nipples may allow leak. Your oil hoses could also allow air into engine.
