Yamaha 2003 225hp not running
Model LF225TXRB Cranks ok but will not run while in normal start position. Will start and run when advancing throttle while in neutral. While running, engine runs rough. Replaced plugs What next to check? Other motor runs ok. Thanks

next step ,actually should have been the first step, test leakdown and spark.
then go fix the fuel system.
a compression test,while not as accurate or useful as a leak down test can be done. -
check compression, spark and timing if all is well look for fuel problems.
Fuel pressures, injectors testing, filters, water in fuel etc.
