    Dextron III

    Dose dextron III replace dextron II or just dextron IIE?
    I asked a mec and all I did was start an argument between him and another mec that was there.
    We'll one was a mec not shur about the other, but he did work in a dealership.

    I would like to hear it from a yamaha expert.

    No expert here but Dexron II has not been available for years. Yamaha for some strange reason known only to them continues to recommend that which is not available.

    I would use III in lieu of II. Not that you can even find II anymore.

      Thanks boscoe99, that tells me two things actually because the dealership that I went to is supposedly expecting some dextron II on Wednesday in there shipment order.
      Gess I shouldn't hold my breath on that one!
      But I will be finding a new dealership to spend my hard earned " FUN MONEY ".
