old 3.5 ac help please!
I've been given an old 3.5 ac. I don't know anything about it, it doesn't start yet I've adjusted the point gap and now it has a spark. I've given the carburetor a good clean but it won't go even with easy start. There are some bits missing including the air filter (I can't find new parts anywhere) any help, advice or information of this engine would be much appreciated. Thanks

the bracket was missing when I got it which I think is where the serial number is (I've since got hold of a second hand one) it has 705 stamped on the block not sure if this means anything? I thought I had something missing on the air intake but looking at the parts list I can't see it, there's nothing bolted to the plate on the front of the carburetor only an air box on the back next to it (31 on the list) any ideas?
