really stupid question...
Hope you guys will forgive on this... feel pretty dumb... I have a 2000 50 hp four stroke that I'm swapping over to my pontoon boat (just bought a NEW 2014 50 4 stroke for my fishing boat- YAY!),... on the front of the old motor where the harness plugs together running from the helm, there is a red wire with fuse holder, it has a small round male plug.. also has an extra fuse attached... it runs into the engine harness, but I cannot figure out where it plugs into from the other side...... I left the old wiring harness, cables, etc on the fishing boat, bought new harness and battery cables for pontoon... removing the motor, I unplugged all the necessary wires for the harness and battery cables assuming it would be fairly easy to find later... somewhere there should be a red wire with a female plug to match...right?
