I have a 1988 Seaswirl Sable with a 52 gallon main fuel tank. I have a 8 HP Yamaha outboard, High Thrust, long shaft I use for *****ing. Instead of carrying the little red tank for the *****ing engine I want to tee off the the fuel line before it goes to my main engine (OMC 350 cu in) fuel pump. Will the outboard be able to draw from the main fuel tank? I intend to use fuel stop valve top prevent either of the engines from drawing off each other.

Both outboards will draw from the main fuel tank, as my 115 yami and 9.9 yami kicker draw from the same source.
I will let more qualified people answer how to do it correctly. -
The engine that uses the main fuel tank is a 350 cu in stern drive.Comment

sure you can see it done all the time just be sure to tee off after, your after market inline fuel filter water separator.Comment
