    C60 TLRY WIll not turn over

    Last few times I had it out I would have an intermittent problem when I turned the key. After a few attempts of turning the key it would start. Now I get no reaction when I turn the key.
    New to outboards my troubleshooting is limited. Checked voltage on battery, 12.8. Power going to solenoid: Jump solenoid it fires right up. Replaced solenoid, and now appears I have two good working solenoids. Pulled the neutral kill switch in the control box and bypassed it: No luck. This is where I'm stuck. Any words of wisdom?

    key switch is what it sounds like to me

      Have you removed/checked/cleaned/tightened all battery cable and ground connections?....the damp marine environment can often cause corrosion in these that is not obvious just looking at them....

        Yes, I inspect and clean the battery connections. Is there a way to test the switch?

          So with nothing more than turning the key and holding for up to 1-15 seconds, it will start. Obviously this is not normal. Focus on the key switch?
