Hi,
I am unfamiliar with outboards and could use some advice. I have an FT9.9GE and the identification plate also tells me "6AVK X 1005194 G". I assume that she has a voltage regulator but I could be wrong. What battery type,size and voltage (12 ?) would you recommend. Btw, she is installed on a 25 ft sailing cat intended for day sailing and the need for Amps is pretty basic, but it would be nice if the electric starter would have a reliable source of juice of course.
