    New plugs, carbs been cleaned, new fuel pumps.
    My problem is that when I advance the throttle she has a miss and not real responsive but she will advance in speed. After I get above 3000rpm everything smooths out and she runs fine. At a constant 2500 +- 300 she's not smooth.
    Could this be a link/sync issue? Yes, I fooled with it when I replaced the carbs.

    not disagreeing but throttle seems very smooth with no apparent binds or ruff feeling. This is a fresh water boat that I keep ALL connections greased and checked on a regular basis.

      YDIS wont work on that antique.
      the diagnostic test lamp will.
      could be enrichment pump, could be TPS, could be a bunch of things.

        When I replaced the carbs I checked the TPS and had .5 volts with plates closed. What is the enrichment pump? Maybe terminology has me confused. Can link/sync be an issue (my original question).
