I have a 1996 Yamaha c115tlru. Motor will start and idle fine will run wide open for a short period of time then just dies like its not getting any gas. I have cleaned the cards adjusted floats to the specs. Not sure if I am losing fuel to crabs or if its flooding. I inspected fuel filter its clean. Opened the fuel pump the diaphragms appear intact. They do seem flimsy to me. I went ahead and ordered a new fuel pump today. Wonder if anybody has any other suggestions. When the motor runs it runs great. When it dies it will not restart for sometime. Thanks for any help anybody can offer.

First thing I would look at is overheating, might be time for a new water pump -
make sure your buzzer works and the overtemp switches will set if off at the proper temp. And see if your gauges show when in alarm state.
That would eliminate that from being your problem if it is not sounding or showing on gaugesComment
