How do you undo these things? They look like you twist them but obviously you can't. Squeezing the sides doesn't open it enough to pull it apart. I don't want to break it so thought I'd ask first. Thanks

You turn the locking collar. Then the two connectors can be pulled apart. -
mate you need to put some elbow weight in to it as it is a tight fitting otherwise with the vibration it will come off
you hold the two ends and twist the top clockwise and pull apart,you will be able ti see the groove move
