    4 stroke F115TJR. 08
Drained fuel lines. Let it run it dry about a month ago.
    That OK?
Some say fog, some say no, Best practice?

We drain all gas out of VST, running it out of gas wont get all gas out. Remove spark plugs and put fogging oil in cylinders to lube valves pistons and rings, reinstall spark plugs, remove landyard cord to prevent engine from starting and spin engine over to coat cylinders with oil.

        Thanks
        Will do
Need to look at/ replace the plugs , originals.
No tach so hours on it are just guesses.

          vst

Not questioning your judgement on draining the vst but see mixed feedback regarding draining it vs leaving it alone / full. If the fuel is properly treated with stabilizer shouldn't it hold up?

How much fogging oil is needed per cyl? I spray for 12-15 seconds in each. Is that enough?

Was hoping the instructions were on the can ? ?
            plan to do it today.

12 seconds seem like a lot
Guessing too much is better than none.

              Got some STA-BIL fogging spray

              Directions on can:

1 Start engine, remove air filter
2 spray into air intake of running engine
3 Shut off engine after 10 seconds

              **** I did this part ****
              4 Remove plugs
              5 spray 3 seconds
              6 replace plugs

I turned the engine over a few seconds (not on the can)
Actually I turned the engine over 1st time & forgot to put the plugs in.
Gave each a 1 second spray, put plugs in, turned it over a second time .
This "senior moment" stuff pisses me off.
