    MODEL #V150TLRC

i am not getting any spark, motor ran fine last time. been reading the threads and would like to try and bypass the kill circuit. can anyone give me an idea on this motor how to do that?

    checked all fuses, connections etc

    its an 04 carbed Vmax.
    quick check?
pull the stop lanyard, crank the motor.
you should get an audible alarm at cranking.
plug in the stop lanyard, crank again. if alarm is not present the kill circuit is ok.
what kind of spark tester is being used?

if you say you did what I asked and all was ok, why are you asking questions about the kill circuit?
IF you did as I said AND got the results I stated then why bother chasing rabbits or trying to pin farts on the wall?

if the afore mentioned test passed and you have spark on NO cylinders suspect a low speed charge coil or ECU.

if you have spark on 4 cylinders supect a crank position sensor.
if you have spark on only 2 cyl suspect a pulser coil.

its a dirt simple CDI ign system.
some books will refer to it as an ADI system.

because all the post i read say its the kill circuit, disconnect the white wire here or there,
didn't know myself that the fore mentioned test was all that was required on that motor until you brought it up, sorry if i offended you expertise, not all of us are c.o.b mechanics.

You said you tested the kill circuit like he said to, and I guess it was working properly setting off the alarm with kill switch pulled off.
I also guess it is not setting off the alarm during normal start procedure.

So does it not make sense that if the kill circuit was grounding out keeping spark from reaching plugs the ECU would let you know and set the alarm?

Have you tested for spark on any or all cylinders yet?
            sounds like you have not.
Get a spark tester and someone to turn the switch while you watch for spark, Or rig up a remote start switch to do it by yourself.
But that may take more knowledge than you have on the systems, so just get a friend to help. Anyone can turn a key

The white wire in the ten pin harness, the ignition switch and the kill switch is grounded to prevent ignition from occurring. Not often, but sometimes some Yams won't sound the warning horn when the motor is being cranked with the white wire grounded.

Disconnect the coupler for the white wire wherever you can gain access to it and see if you then have spark.

You should be able to disconnect the ten pin harness in the engine pan which will definitely remove the white wire connection to the motor. Then crank and start the motor using a remote starter switch. If it has spark and will start that is. Stop the motor by connecting the ten pin harness connector. Or, simply ground the white wire in the ten pin coupler on the engine side.

Once you have verified that it is not a kill circuit problem move on to checking the charge coil output and the pulsar coil output. Finally, check the CDI.

                simple rule of thumb
                no spark -kill switch problem
disconnect the wires for the kill switch and crank should get the spark
no spark after this check your cdi if its a old model or ECU if its a new model
sometimes rust on the trigger switch can cause this problem it will reduce the voltage to minimum or none at all
