1991 200hp yam txrp. New impeller poppet (mushroom ) no t stats on the muffs water will flow out the tell tale briefly then nonthing dropped the Lunit hooked garden hose to midsection and water flows out the tel tale and the t-stat housings ....... is there sopposed to be a small hole on the swept side of water pumphousing ??? Its the size of a ball pen tip..wtf supposed to go diving this weekend..

Some spearate sentences referring to one thing at a time would help us understand you.

When running on the muffs there is not enough water flow to fill the block and have water out the tell tale.
THE MAIN REASON for YOUR motor doing this is no T-stats in the motor.
The water flows out too fast for the water hose to keep up.
No T-stats is bad for the motor to start with.
The last part of the OP question i have no clue.Comment
