My Yamaha F115 TXRC has been getting overfill on oil level. Is it a thermostat problem or a defective fuel pump?

Do you smell fuel in your oil? Is it foaming to a gray color at all?
How old is the thermostat? Fairly easy to remove and replace if it is bad. Most of the time you can see it stuck open if it is due to corrosion.Comment
