  • wiring of older gauges

I have a 1993 130hp that I am putting on a boat. I have all of the old wiring harnesses and found some old gauges. i was wondering if anyone had the wiring diagram for these gauges. I think that they are no longer made and have been updated to new gauges. Would like to see if these all still work fine.

    multifunction tach 6Y5-83500-03-00
    multifunction speed 6Y5-83500-A0-00

I also go water pressure and water temp gauges just to fill existing holes in dash but it is my understanding that multifunction speed has engine temp on it. Do you see any reason to need both of them? I assume I would need to add a temp sensor if I wanted the water temp gauge to work correct?

    thanks,

Connect power harness to key switch and to gauges matching wire colors. Connect multi connectoir wires to gauges and to engine.
Will need temp sender for temp gauge and a water [ressure tubing for pressure gauge if use them.

do you know the part number for the sender and wiring harness that will run back to the temp gauge. Does it need to be the tubing from Yamaha due to a specific diameter?

      thanks,
