Tilt Motor

I may have gotten salt water into my tilt motor (75HP Yamaha) through a
cracked wire...can the motor be taken apart and rebuilt or is it better to
buy a new one?

depends on how bad it is, seen some with rust inside and was better to replace them.
You Will not know until you take it apart to see
