well, here I are again...DANG!!! to catch up quick, I have a 115 saltwater..1998 with alarm issues.. y'all prob recall the history..it seems to come on randomly, any speed, any time...I noticed something the other day though, the alarm gauge does not blink on and off when the alarm is sounding....I believe that the gauge works ok because when I turn the key to on, everything flashes for a few seconds...the little red box, and all the arrows, then just goes back to nothing..the tilt part of that gauge does not work though..the tach part seems to work fine..the other gauge... gas, battery, time, reset button, does not work at all...anything to do with it possibly? changed the fuse holders on the motor most recently..ran a few miles with no alarm, took her out the other day and she sounded 5 times in 7 or 8 miles, then ran with no alarm for another 6 or 7...???????????? Please , someone help....this thing is driving me crazy...any chance one of you would be interested in going for a ride? it pisses fine, oil injector system is all new......I'm at wits end.....starts and runs great with the exception of the alarm coming on and shutting down the motor....any way to by pass the alarm and still have the injection system work? if the alarm is " disconnected", would the rpm limiter still kick in?
