  • 50 HP Yamaha propeller can't get it out

I try to pull the propeller but I couldn't.
Have somebody have this issue before?

If they sit to long rust will grow them onto shaft, that is why it is a good idea to pull prop each year and clean shaft and hub and look for fishing line around shaft and grease things going back,

saw only one, and that one had to be cut off with a torch

Make sure you do not damage the shaft.

Probably need to cut prop off hub and then work on the hub itself.

Shop may be better equipped to handle it

I would use a cutting torch as a last resort, too much heat transfer could damage nearby seals.

I've had this problem before on larger outboards used shock treatment with wood & hammer at the base of the blade.

                prop removal

get a gear puller from a mechanic or tool rental and it will most probably come right off.you must be very careful not to hit the end of shaft as it may damage the expensive gears in line on it.and ruin a shaft bushing at the opening of the lower unit.
