Have seen many threads on this issue. My motor started doing this last season. This year I replaced all filters, water seperator and new head for seperator,high pressure filter, water sepaerator on engine,clean VST and filter. Drained fuel tank. New primer bulb.Sea trials in smooth water boat ran perfect! 5500 RPM WOT. light load. Went out today rough as hell 3 to 6 foot every three seconds and sure enough the cut out began again.Limped home and got in the smooth part of the bay and boat ran perfect again. Did some circles and when hit my wakes cutout happened. Also when falling off a big sea motor makes a quick cutout sound. Need ideas on what else to look for.Does the float in the VST have adjustment, it seems like the tank isn't full. Best Salmon season since '96 and this happens

Have you tested anything or just throwing parts at it?

It usually works a lot faster and cheaper to test things, and on the HPDI's it really needs to be done with a computer

Need to test things while problem is happening to see what is failing.
