Shifting Problem T50

I have dual 1997 T50 4 strokes with 703 control boxes.
Shifting into forward is immediately out of neutral, yet with reverse the control lever is about 15 degrees off of neutral before reverse engages.
I checked the lever on the engine and it lines up with the marks on the guide.
Is there an adjustment in the control boxes?
Both engines/controls exhibit this problem.

No there are no adjustment in control box, the adjustment are made with control cables, check cable adjustment at engine in neutral position.
