88 225 excel misses at half throttle

I have a 88 225 excel that skips for just a split second between 2500 rpm and 3400 rpm. Its runs fine and smooth but every 3 or 4 minutes it feels like every cylinder miss fires 1 time and then its smooth again. It also is idling a little rough. Carbs have been done fuel pumps replaced compression is good on all six. Wondering if this could be the crank sensor.
Any ideas? I havent bypassed the computer to see if it does it bypassed. Thanks Jason

Probably not the crank sensor it will stop fire on all six cyl. at once. The throttle position sensor may have a bad spot in it. Make sure it has resistor spark plugs and the resistor plug cap's are in good shape.
