yamaha multi function gauge

I have a new F200 with yamaha multi function gauges. When running between 3200 to around 3800 rpm on hot oil the oil pressure jumps between the third and fourth mark in the gauge. Is this something anyone is seeing? I think the pressure should be steady at this RPM. I'm thinking sensor or gauge, but it may be normal. Dealer just kept talking about the water pressure so he is on help.

If I was worried, I would hook up the Yamaha Diagnostic Software and run the boat in the water to monitor. To cross check the guage and sensor.

maybe he was talking about the water pressure sensor going bad and causing the other problems
