Anyone know the thread size for the drain screw for a 97 2 stroke?

If you are looking to simply replace your plug you should be able to find it on this site under the red link at the top for yamaha parts. you will need your full model number to look this and any other parts up. If you have ruined your current plug others on here may know what size your was.

I actually need the size to find the right adapter to screw in for my lube pump after I drain the casing of oil.

the lube pumps generally have a 3/8 -16 thread
the "Yamaha adapter" is M8 x 1.25
