            Good video. If anything, gives good reason to replace pump and thermostat on new to you used outboards and regular renewal thereafter.

              I'm guessing that the outboard cooling system/passages must have evolved over the years into the complex system that it is....at least it seems complex to me!...It's obvious after watching his video how a cooling system could easily get plugged by salt/mineral deposits or pieces from a deteriorated water pump impeller.....very interesting!
