  • F 150 TXR kills while running@about 4200rpm

2006 F150 stalls, no power to key switch no warning lights and trim doesn't work. Checked fuses below and left of starter, all checked ok. After about 30 minutes, restarted normally, but I did notice volt meter dropped below 13 to a low of about 10 volts after it restarted. Volts dropped as rpm increased.2000rpm about 12 volts,4000 rpm about 10 volts. Is there any safety switches for low voltage that would cause this or any other safety switch that would reset automatically.

As said check all connections from battery on both Pos and Neg, cables themseves can go bad internally where you can not see.

If voltage drops too far ECU, fuel pumps, etc will not run properly and will likely turn off

Thanks guys, I think I found my problem, loose ground connection at motor. Bolt holding ground to block, broke in block, can I use bottom starter bolt for ground wire. Don't have all tools needed to drill and tap

I would think any bolt into the block would work
