  • Part number help

Hello, I have a late (nov) 2013 F225BETX (caribbean) model 4 stroke serial # 6AS-X-1003328B can anyone help me with the timing belt part number ? possibly the same as any 2013 F225 would be my guess BUT that's why I am asking first prior to ordering the part. anything else to order while I change the belt in the near future ? Shes got 570 hrs....
Thank you all in advance ! Ken

Where are you going to order the parts from? Local Yamaha dealer or online as in boats.net for example? Whoever should be able to help you get the proper part number for that engine.

      since Boscoe hasn't answered...

it seems the document at this link might provide some assurance as to part #

6AS is the prefix for an F225XA. Here in the USA anyway. Outside the USA it is an F225BETX.

Since the 3.3 liter F225XA is modeled after the F250TXR it uses the same cam shaft drive belt.

Why is the Brazilian parts catalog for the F225XA/F225BETX so much more user friendly and helpful than the parts book issued here in the US by Yamaha USA?
