    was going to run a gas and oil mixture through my Yamaha 150 fourstroke , for say half a gal of gas (64oz) how much oil would be recommended to add to that?

      Amahaork... This is a perfectly acceptable way to fog a fuel injected engine.

      This is Merc's mixture rate (and you can adjust for lesser gas amounts), but I'm sure Yamaha's is similar... or close enough as it makes no difference. 5g gas, 64oz 2-Stroke, 5oz stabilizer. Advance the throttle a tiny bit and run it for a good few minutes. If you don't drain the VST, first, run it for 10-15 minutes.

      When I do sterndrives, with easily accessible fuel/water separators, another way is to put 2oz of 2-stroke and an ounce of stabilizer (can't hurt to have extra of that) in the filter, then run 1300RPMS for 5 minutes (Merc spec... VST models are longer).
