Why didn't yamaha use the same impeller in the sho?
    6ce-44352-00 = 57.00 6e5-44352-01 = 28.00

which sho are you talking about?

looks like the 6ce-44352-00 is listed for the F225 to F300
and the 6e5-44352-01 fit some 2 stroke and 4 strokes back to 1999 and low as F90 along with some up to 250 and 300
costing more it has to be a better impeller.

Who really knows what the difference is and I am sure the egineers are not going to say

I just had a problem with the site.
I tried to get a screenshot and it said I could not do that because what was on my screen was not a standard web page

is the sho the motor they run on bass boats where the are mostly out of the water at high speed?
maybe they are built to take some air from time to time without ripping apart.

The o66 and the hpdi were on bass boats, i replaced a lot of tuners from running them to high.

Anybody know exactly the purpose of the exhaust tuner? "Tuning the exhaust" is not an acceptable answer......

I would think it allows the motor to breath properly for the amount of fuel it uses to create the rated HP while still keeping the proper amount of back pressure

Trying to compare to a dirt bike with the expansion chamber in the exhaust. You may be correct.
