Question - Replace low oil sensor 2 years ago, just got an alarm again on the throttle con*****er.
Is the engine temperature sensor also connected to this alarm?

Yes. There is a thermoswitch that closes when the motor gets too hot. Alarm should sound. Motor should go into RPM reduction mode.

Ok thanks, the water coming out of the motor is not hot so it could be the thermoswitch. I will start there. thanks.

The water coming from the tell talke of 99% of all Yamahas is not hot.

the lamps on the tach or the motor will tell you which alarm just triggered, if you care to look.
